For people curious about my settings

1. I use the brush tool for almost everything, even for lineart. Easy for rough sketching.

2. Blending, works better with a texture thrown in.

3. Flat brush gets you a semi painterly look, wonderful for laying down color and whatnot.

4. Overlay abuse, I actually do most of my color blending with them haha

HOLY SHIT, ATTENTION ALL COSPLAYERS.c

oh, hey, we didn’t have a tutorial last tuesday because I’m a dumb and I put this one to post on 4/23/2012 and tumblr didn’t know what I wanted. OOps.

The sound I made was inhuman.

This is so cool~ But also SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE!

Duct tape has literally no flexibility, so when you’re all wrapped up like that, it is really hard to breathe because your rib cage can’t expand at all.

Granted it does make an awesome pattern! But if anyone tries this, please be careful; don’t wrap it too tight (it will be harder to cut off if you do anyway), and don’t leave it on too long. You’d be amazed how quickly you can start to feel faint.

The skull model is a google sketch up model you can grab from 3d warehouse.

If you do the skull studies I would suggest throwing some eyes into the skull for an added bonus and it gives an awesome creepy personality to the skull. It’s something I picked up from my kickass teacher Erik Gist.
